Everest Coffee Company

Everest Coffee Company is tucked away at No 7 on Audiappa Naicken Street in the Parrys area. If you know Parrys, you know how crowded and tight these streets can get. Our place isn't very large, but we make it work. Most of the day is spent handling coffee beans and the smell stays in your clothes long after you leave. We do a lot of grinding and packing right here in the back room. The building is older, and the walls have seen better days, but it’s solid. We’ve been on this street for a long time now. You can hear the carts and scooters zooming past the front door all day long. It gets pretty dusty, so we are always dusting off the bags and the counter. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the whole street and everything slows down to a crawl. We have a few regulars who come in every single morning just to see what’s new or to pick up their usual order. We don't have much room for sitting around, so it's mostly a place where things get done and then moved out. The light inside is a bit dim because of the narrow street outside, but we like it that way. It feels like a real workspace. We keep the grinders running and try to stay ahead of the orders that pile up on the desk. It’s just a normal day for us here in the heart of the city.
