Eurasian Natural Stone

We have our yard set up at 1411 5th Street in the H Block area of Anna Nagar. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. We deal with natural stone, which means most of our day is spent moving heavy slabs of granite and marble around. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes are usually covered in stone dust by lunch. We don't have a fancy office or any air conditioning in the main area, just a few fans and a lot of rock. People come by to look at the different colors and patterns for their homes. Sometimes it takes them a long time to choose, but that is fine with us. We have seen a lot of different people walk through those gates over the years. We spend time checking the inventory and making sure nothing is cracked or chipped. It’s a lot of manual work, and we use a small crane for the biggest pieces. Sometimes the traffic on 12 Main makes it a real headache to get the delivery trucks in and out. We just try to keep things organized as best we can. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from moving the stone to handling the basic paperwork. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't; we just sell stone to people who need it.
