Ets Impex

We’ve been at No. 9 Second Beach Line for a while now, up on the 5th floor of Anthoni Pillai Bhavan. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. From up here, you can sometimes catch a glimpse of the water, but mostly we’re just looking at the other buildings and the traffic below. The office isn't very big, and it gets pretty cluttered with all the files and samples we keep around. It’s a busy spot, and the noise from the street never really stops. We spend most of our day on the phone or typing away at the computers. It’s not a fancy setup, just some old desks and chairs that have seen better days. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s a practical space for Ets Impex to handle the daily grind of importing and exporting. Some days are slow, and we spend a lot of time drinking tea and waiting for the phone to ring. Other days, it’s a total mess with everyone talking at once and trying to meet a deadline. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this building and the people who work in the other offices. It’s just us, a small team trying to keep things moving. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to get the work done and go home to our families.
