Einheit Engineering

We are Einheit Engineering over at 1/27 Periyar Nagar in Mambakkam. It’s a bit of a drive out here but it’s where we have our space and we like it. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work. Our shop isn't very big, but we have the machines we need to get through the daily tasks. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the big doors wide open to get some air. You can hear the sounds of grinding and metal work from the street if you pass by. We started out with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as we found the money. It’s not a shiny new facility. The walls could use a bit of paint and the floor has its share of oil stains. But the machines work well and that is what matters for the jobs we take on. Our guys live nearby and they usually walk or bike to work. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over some tea in the morning. We handle a mix of different jobs, some small repairs and some bigger parts. We don't really have a sales team. People just hear about us from other workshops in the Mambakkam area. We try to keep things simple and avoid any unnecessary complications. It’s just a regular workshop.
