Our office is right in the middle of the city at 766 Anna Salai, specifically on the 4th floor of Tower I in Sakthi Towers. It’s a bit of a climb, or a wait for the lift, but this is where Egr Agricultural Support Services operates from. Even though we are in a big building in a busy part of town, our whole focus is on the people out in the fields. We do the background work that helps farmers get things done. Whether it is sorting out the logistics or helping with the technical side of the business, we are here to provide that extra bit of support. It can get pretty noisy down on Anna Salai, but inside the office, we are mostly looking at charts or talking on the phone with people from all over the rural areas. We aren't some polished corporate machine; we are just a small team trying to make sense of the agricultural supply chain. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with all the documents we have to manage, but we know where everything is. We don’t go in for big, fancy presentations. We just focus on the practical stuff that actually makes a difference for the producers. It’s a different kind of work than being on a tractor, but it is just as important for keeping the whole system moving. That’s what we do here in Sakthi Towers, day in and day out.
