Goyal Marbles & Granites is located on ECR Road in Neelangarai. It is a well-known spot because the ECR Road is so busy with people traveling back and forth. We have a lot of marble and granite here at the shop. The air is often thick with the smell of stone and the sound of the ocean isn’t too far off, though you can’t hear it over the traffic. Neelangarai is a good place for a business like ours because so many people are building things in this area. We don’t have a polished sales team or anything like that. It’s usually just a couple of us wearing dusty clothes and helping customers look through the stacks. We spend a lot of time moving pieces around so people can see the patterns. It’s hard work on the back and the hands. We’ve been on ECR Road for a while now and we like the neighborhood. We don’t bother with fancy brochures or mission statements. We just show up, open the gates, and start working. If someone needs marble, they come to Neelangarai and find us. We keep it simple and honest. The shop at Neelangarai is just a place where we do our trade and try to keep things moving along. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done for everyone involved. We just take it one day at a time here on the coastal road.
