Dr Kamakshi National Hospital

Our hospital is down in Parrys, specifically at Number 12 on 2nd Line Beach Road. It’s right on Jaffer Serang Street. If you know the Parrys area, you know how packed the streets get with all the shops and the port nearby. We’ve been here in this old part of town for quite some time. The building fits right in with the others on the street. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because of how these old buildings are built, but we make it work. Most of our patients are people who work in the local markets or live in the narrow lanes around here. It’s a noisy area outside, but once you step in, it’s a bit more settled. We don’t have any of those modern glass walls or anything. It’s just a solid, practical hospital. The staff here is used to the fast pace of Parrys. We see a lot of different cases every day. It’s not always easy managing the crowd, but we have our system. We open the doors early because the area wakes up early. It’s a bit dusty outside with all the traffic, so we spend a lot of time cleaning. We’re just a local hospital serving the people who spend their lives in this busy corner of the city. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Beach Road, but we’re still here doing our thing. It's a tough location to get to sometimes, but we’re a necessary part of the neighborhood for the folks around here.
