Dr Gd Boaz Memorial Hospital School

This is the Dr Gd Boaz Memorial Hospital School, and you’ll find us at number 10 on First Cross Street in Kalyan Nagar, Tambaram. It’s a bit of a unique place because we are both a hospital and a school. We’ve been tucked away in this part of Tambaram for a long time. The building is older and has that solid feel to it, with wide corridors and plenty of windows to let the air in. We deal with a lot of special cases here, and the atmosphere is quite different from a regular hospital. It’s quieter in some ways but busier in others. In the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the school starting up, and there’s always people moving between the different sections. We have a dedicated staff who have been here for years; they know the layout like the back of their hand. The gardens around the building are a bit overgrown, but it adds to the calm feel of the place. We don’t have glossy brochures or a marketing team. We just focus on the people who come to us for help and education. Kalyan Nagar is a settled neighborhood, and we feel like a part of the history here. It’s a lot of responsibility running a place like this, but we just take it day by day. We make sure the rooms are clean, the students are learning, and the patients are being looked after. It’s not a flashy institution, just a hardworking one.
