Our place is at No. 36 on the TVK 1st Link Road in Thiruvalluvar Nagar. We go by the name Dpdraj Foods And Spices India Privatelimited. It’s a busy little spot and you can usually tell where we are because of the way the air smells around here. Spices are a big part of what we do, so those scents tend to stick to everything, including our clothes. Thiruvalluvar Nagar is a working-class kind of neighborhood where people just get on with things. We fit right in because we aren't trying to be fancy. The 1st Link Road sees a lot of trucks and delivery vans moving back and forth all day long. It can get pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just part of the trade. We have our office and our storage in this one building. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for us. We spend our hours checking inventory and making sure the orders are going out to the right places. We don't have a board of directors in fancy suits. It’s just us, the people who actually handle the bags and the boxes. We don't really go for big speeches or polished presentations. If you saw us at work, you’d just see people in everyday clothes trying to make sure the spices are sorted and the paperwork is done before we go home for the day.
