Doshi & Doshi

We've been at Doshi Gardens for a while now. Shop No 6 is where you'll find us, right there on Arcot Road. Most people know the spot because it's directly opposite the Vadapalani Bus Terminus. It gets really busy around here, especially when the buses are coming and going all day long. If you're walking from the station, it’s just a short walk over to where we are. The shop itself isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. People usually stop by while they're waiting for their ride or just passing through Vadapalani on their way home. It’s a lot of noise outside with the traffic and the horns, but inside we just focus on getting things done. We don't really do much fancy stuff here. It's just a regular place where we handle our business every day. Sometimes the address gets a bit confusing for people because there are so many shops in the gardens area, but once you see the bus stand, you know you’re in the right place. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Arcot Road is always dug up or being fixed, it feels like. We open up in the morning and stay until things quiet down in the evening. There's usually a couple of us here to help out. It's not a corporate office or anything like that, just a local spot where we know a lot of the faces that walk by.
