We are located at number 9 in the Thirumalai Nagar Annexe, right along the 100 feet road in Kolathur. This part of Chennai, the 99 area, is always moving and we are right in the middle of it. Our hospital has been here for years, and most of the local families know us by name. It’s a typical neighborhood hospital. We have a general ward and some private rooms, but they are all very simple and functional. The 100 feet road is always noisy with traffic, and that sound carries into the front lobby. We have a small pharmacy on the side so people can get their prescriptions filled right away. The staff here is like a small family because many of them have been working together for a decade or more. We don't have any of those glossy brochures or a big website. Most people just walk in because they live nearby and need help with a cough or an injury. In the summer, it gets quite hot in the waiting area, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We handle emergencies as they come and do our best to take care of everyone. It’s a lot of hard work and long nights, but it’s just what we do here in Kolathur. No big corporate layers, just a hospital for the community. We just keep the doors open and get through each day, hoping everyone goes home feeling better.
