My office is located in Chandra Flats, specifically 20/2 on the 2nd Main Road. This is Trustpuram, over in the Kodambakkam area. It’s a residential neighborhood mostly, so it’s usually quiet except for the usual street noises and the neighbors coming and going. I’ve been working out of this flat for some time. It’s on the 2nd lane, so sometimes people get a little lost trying to find the right turn from the main road. It’s a simple setup, just a couple of rooms with desks and plenty of files stacked up. I don't have a big staff, just a few people helping out with the daily paperwork and meetings. We don't have a big sign outside either, just a small one near the gate to let people know they are at the right building. People usually come here by appointment. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the summer. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. This is more of a local spot where we can actually sit down and talk without too much noise. Kodambakkam is a busy place, but this little pocket of Trustpuram is a bit more relaxed. I like it here because it’s close to everything but away from the heaviest traffic. We just do our work, handle the clients who come by, and try to keep things organized. It’s a practical way to run things without all the extra costs of a big office.
