City Tower Hospital

Being on 2nd Avenue in Anna Nagar means there is always something going on outside our doors. This is New No A A 85, a spot we’ve called home for some time now. Chennai weather is usually hot, so the air conditioning in the hospital is usually running full blast to keep everyone comfortable. We are on the second floor too, which keeps us away from the direct noise of the street level, but you still hear the horns honking now and then. It’s a hospital, so we stay busy at all hours of the day and night. Some nights are quiet, but others are just a blur of people and paperwork. We don't have a big marketing team writing stuff for us. It’s just us here, making sure the rooms are tidy and the medicine is where it should be. The lobby has those standard hospital chairs that everyone recognizes from visits to the doctor. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so people take the stairs if they’re in a hurry. We see families coming in, looking a bit worried, and we just try to get them to the right room as fast as we can. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy art on the walls or anything like that. Just the stuff we need to help people get better. If you’re looking for us, look for the sign near the corner. We’ve been part of this community for a long while and we know the regulars who walk by every morning.
