Chirag Hospital

Chirag Hospital is over in Karapakkam. It’s a straightforward medical facility that’s been part of the Karappakkam landscape for some time now. The area has changed a lot with all the new buildings going up, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same. We handle a variety of health issues that the local people bring in. The waiting area has some simple benches where people sit and wait their turn. It’s not a very big hospital, which makes it feel a bit more like a neighborhood spot where you might run into someone you know. The staff is used to the heat in this part of the city, so we keep the fans going all day. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and talking to patients about how they’re feeling. The hallways are plain and the lighting is just standard. It’s the kind of place where things are done practically and without much fuss. You might hear the sound of the main road nearby, but inside it’s usually focused on whatever patient is currently being seen. We don't have any big flashy signs or fancy lobbies. It’s just a place for people to come when they aren't feeling well or need a doctor to look at something. Most of our days are spent just keeping things running and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever walks through the door next.
