Chettinad Hospital Urban Health Centre

We're over here in Karapakkam, right near the Central Point Hotel on OMR Road. Most people know this stretch of the road because it gets so busy, but we’ve been tucked away at New No 117 for a while now. It’s an urban health centre, so we handle a lot of the usual stuff that comes through the door every day. The building is Old No 147 if you're looking at older maps or asking around the neighborhood. People coming from the main part of the city usually find us easily enough once they spot the hotel. It’s a plain place, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep things running. Our staff lives around here mostly, so we see a lot of the same faces from the local blocks. It’s just how it is working in a health centre in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic on OMR makes it a bit of a trek to get here, but once you're inside, it's quieter. We try to keep the chairs filled and the wait times down, though some days are definitely busier than others depending on what's going around. If you walk past the hotel, you'll see us just a little further down. It’s a functional space where we do our work. We've been at this spot for a good bit of time now, serving the local crowd around Karapakkam without making a big fuss about it. Just doing what needs doing.
