Chennai Veterinary Hospital & Shelter

We are located over in Adyar on 23rd Cross Street. The building is Old Number 7, though some people know it as New Number 15 now. We're right near the Indira Nagar Water Tank, which is usually how people find their way to us if they're lost. It’s a busy spot because we act as both a hospital and a shelter for animals. There is always a lot going on, with dogs barking or cats waiting for their checkups. It can get a bit noisy, but that’s just how it is when you’re looking after animals. We’ve been in this Indira Nagar neighborhood for quite a long time. The space is divided up so we can treat sick pets and also give a place to stay for those that don't have homes yet. It’s not a polished, high-end office; it’s a working hospital. Things can get a little messy, but we do our best to keep up with the cleaning. People from all over Adyar bring their pets here. We see everything from routine shots to more serious stuff. Being near the water tank makes us a bit of a landmark for the locals. We’re just a group of people who spend our days with animals. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve got a routine down. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the 23rd Cross Street and look for the gate. We’ll be there.
