CHENNAI TOOLS

Our shop is located over in Padi, at No.7/8 and 9/5 on Kamaraj 1st Cross Street. It is right in the Srinivasa Nagar area which is a pretty active part of town. CHENNAI TOOLS is mostly just a place filled with metal, heavy items, and shelves that go up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time moving things around and checking what we have in stock for the people who come in. The street outside is usually busy with motorcycles and people walking to the nearby shops. It can get a bit dusty with all the metal work and tools being shifted but that is just part of the environment. We do not have any air conditioning or fancy decorations here. It is just a practical space where we work every day from Monday to Saturday. My family has been involved in this for a long time and we know most of the regulars who live around Srinivasa Nagar. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people come in at once asking for different things but we manage to sort it out eventually. We keep the doors open to let some air in even when it is hot outside. If you are walking down the 1st Cross Street, you will probably hear us before you see us. It is just a local business trying to stay busy in the Padi neighborhood and we like it that way.
