Amutha Hardwares

We are Amutha Hardwares, located at A-90 on 3rd Street in Anna Nagar East. Our shop is right opposite the MLA office, so it is a very easy landmark for anyone looking for us. 3rd Street is usually pretty busy with people going about their business. We have been running this hardware store for quite a few years. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We have hammers, nails, plumbing supplies, electrical bits, and just about anything else you might need for a house repair. It’s a bit crowded in here, and you have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a bucket of paint or a bundle of pipes. But we know where everything is. People come to us because they know we have those odd bits and pieces that the bigger stores don’t always carry. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who drop in for a single bolt or a roll of tape. It’s a local shop through and through. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. The name Amutha Hardwares is just painted on the front. It’s a bit hot in the shop during the summer months, but we have a couple of ceiling fans that keep the air moving. We open early in the morning because that’s when the contractors like to pick up their supplies. It’s a good way to start the day.
