Chennai Hospital

Chennai Hospital is located at 43 Lakshmi Talkies Road in Shenoy Nagar. This part of the city is always moving, and our street is no exception. We are surrounded by small shops and some older houses. The hospital itself is a place where there is always something going on. You hear the hum of the air conditioners and the occasional beep of a machine. The waiting room has been the same for years, with wooden benches that have seen a lot of use. We don't have any high-tech kiosks; everything is done by the people at the front desk. They know the neighborhood well and often chat with the patients about local news. Shenoy Nagar is a tight-knit place in some ways. We get a lot of elderly people who have lived here their whole lives. The mornings are usually the busiest time when everyone wants to be seen at once. By the afternoon, things slow down a little bit, and we have time to catch up on the cleaning. There is a tea stall just down the road where the staff usually goes to grab a quick cup. The building has some cracks here and there, but it’s sturdy. We focus on the daily tasks like updating charts and making sure the supplies are stocked. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been part of this street for a long time now. We see the same faces passing by the window every morning.
