C G Ceramics

Our shop, C G Ceramics, is located on Kilpauk Garden Road. We are at No 223, which used to be Old No 294. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city center, which we like. We have stacks of tiles and ceramic pieces all over the place. It’s easy to get lost in the rows of samples if you aren't careful. We’ve been here for years, helping people pick out stuff for their bathrooms or kitchens. It’s funny how people can spend hours looking at different shades of white. We don’t rush them. We just let them look. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand. Sometimes the samples get a bit dusty, so we have to wipe them down before showing anyone. It’s just a few of us working here. We handle the lifting and the deliveries ourselves most of the time. We don’t have any fancy sales pitch. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. Kilpauk is a nice place to work. We know most of the people who live on this road. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello while they are out for a walk. We aren't trying to be the biggest store out there. We just want to keep the shop running and help folks find what they need for their homes.
