Bup Granites

Our office is over at S-56th Avenue in Anna Nagar. It’s a pretty decent area to be in, though finding the exact building can sometimes take a minute if you aren't familiar with the avenues around here. Bup Granites isn't a massive operation. It’s just a handful of us working out of this space. We handle a lot of granite orders, which means there’s always a lot of talk about dimensions, colors, and delivery dates. The office itself is quite simple. We have our desks, a computer that’s seen better days, and plenty of samples scattered around. It feels like a working office, not a fancy corporate suite. We don't really do the whole professional marketing thing. Most of our work comes from people who just know us or saw the sign. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. It’s a lot of coordination. On rainy days, the avenue gets a bit muddy, and things slow down, but usually, it’s just the normal buzz of business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure the granite gets to where it’s supposed to go without any cracks. It’s a lot of physical work and mental tracking, but we’re used to it by now. We close up around the same time every evening and head home like everyone else. There's always more to do tomorrow.
