Brs Hospital

Our place is at 28 Cathedral Gardens Road in Nungambakkam. It’s a central part of Chennai, so it’s always hot and there’s always people moving around outside. The hospital has been around for many years. We have a lot of different departments spread across the floors. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We see a lot of local residents. Some of them have been coming here since they were kids. We know their families and their histories. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don't have any of that high-end interior design. The tiles are old and the chairs in the waiting room have seen better days. But we keep everything clean and functional. The staff stays on their toes because you never know who is coming in next. We deal with all the usual stuff you’d expect at a hospital. It gets really busy during the monsoon when everyone seems to get sick at once. We just handle the flow as best as we can. Working in Nungambakkam means we are right in the middle of everything. We don’t make a big deal out of it. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s just how things are at our hospital on Cathedral Gardens Road.
