Bora Hospital

Bora Hospital is located right on Subramania Mudali Street in Saidapet. It can be a little confusing because we have two numbers, New No 99 and Old No 39, but most people around here know the spot. We are very close to the Saidapet Railway Station, so you can hear the trains sometimes. Chennai is always noisy and busy, and this street is no different. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. The building is tucked in among the other shops and houses. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. People usually find us because they live nearby or they took the train in. The street gets pretty narrow and crowded during rush hour. It’s just how Saidapet is. Inside, it's just a regular hospital layout. We keep things simple. The staff has been here for years. It feels like a local place where everyone knows everyone else. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a community hospital. It’s a lot of hard work, but we are used to it. The old number 39 is still on some of the old mail we get. It's just one of those things. We deal with all sorts of cases every day. The monsoon rains usually leak a little near the front door, but we just put a bucket out and carry on.
