If you know where Satyam Cinemas is in Royapettah, then you've basically found us. Blue Stone & Sands LLP is right across the street on Thiru Vi Ka Road. We are up on the fourth floor of building number 10/11. It’s a good spot, even if the traffic gets a bit much during the movie rushes. We spend most of our time dealing with stone and sand supplies. It's gritty work, literally. People call us when they need materials for a build, and we figure out how to get it to them. Sometimes it’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. The office isn't much to look at, just a place where we keep the records and talk to the drivers. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a bit, so we know the shortcuts and the local suppliers well. There’s a lot of dust in this business, but that’s part of the trade. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or bright lights because they'd just get dirty anyway. Mostly, it’s about making sure the sand gets to the site before the rain starts or the crew leaves for the day. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a few people making sure the orders are right and the trucks are moving. Sometimes we grab tea downstairs and talk about the next delivery. It's honest work and it keeps the city building, one truck at a time.
