Bhavini Aquaculture & Foods (Opc) Private Limited is over in the Guindy area of Chennai. We are situated in M G Towers, Room 27, on Nethaji Road in Ganesh Nagar. Being an OPC means it’s mostly just one person running the show with maybe one or two helpers. Guindy is a very busy hub, so there’s always something going on. The office is in a commercial building, but it’s a very simple room. I’ve got a desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and a lot of files about aquaculture. It gets quite hot in Chennai, so the fan is always clicking away. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about fish and food supplies. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of running around to the markets and the port. Sometimes I stay late at the office just to catch up on the emails and the accounts. The building has a lot of other small businesses, so there’s a constant flow of people in the hallways. I don't have a big sign or a fancy logo on the door. It’s just a small space where I try to make this business work. Some days are better than others, but that’s how it is when you’re starting out on your own. I just want to provide decent products and keep the business going without too much stress. It’s a straightforward operation here in Ganesh Nagar.
