Avilon Stone Co. Pvt. Ltd. is located in a nice part of town. We are at No. 35/1 Gangai Street in Kalashetra Colony, Besant Nagar. It is a much quieter neighborhood compared to the industrial zones. Being near the coast means we get a bit of a sea breeze, which helps when we are moving stone samples around. We have been here for a good number of years. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to keep the books and meet people. We handle various types of stone for building and decorating. Since we are in a residential-heavy area like Besant Nagar, we have to be careful about noise and not making too much of a mess on Gangai Street. Our neighbors are mostly families and other small offices. We don't run a heavy quarry here; it is more of a management and display spot. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and showing them what we have available. The pace is a bit different here than in the big granite yards. We still work hard, but it is more about the details and the specific types of stone people want for their homes. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just a group of people who know a lot about stone and happen to have a spot in a great part of Chennai. If you walk down Gangai Street, you will see our sign.
