Balaji Marble Centre

If you are looking for Balaji Marble Centre, we are tucked away at 40/16 on 4th Street in Kamaraj Nagar. It’s right near the Meenakshi Kalyana Mandapm. Choolaimedu is a busy area, and our street can get a bit narrow when trucks are trying to drop off slabs. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The yard is usually dusty because that is just the way it is with marble. We spend most of our days moving heavy stone around and showing people different patterns. It’s heavy work, and our hands are always a bit rough from it. People come in from the neighborhood when they are fixing up their houses. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning. It is just the shop and the stone. We keep things pretty simple. If we have it in stock, we tell you. If we don't, we see when it’s coming. The mandapm nearby always has something going on, so it’s easy to find us if you follow the music or the crowds. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s quiet and just watch the street. 4th Street isn't the biggest road, but it’s home to us. We’re just a small outfit trying to keep things moving. It's nothing special, just a local marble yard doing what we do every day. The stone usually speaks for itself.
