Baba International

Baba International is located at 3/5 Rajmohan Street. This is one of those old streets where the buildings are very close together. Our space is on one of the lower floors, so we don't have to climb too many stairs, which is lucky when we have heavy parcels. The light inside isn't the best because the buildings outside block most of the sun, so we keep the overhead lights on all day. It’s a small office, mostly just desks and a lot of paper everywhere. We’ve been here for a long time and the landlord is a decent guy who leaves us to it. Rajmohan Street is always full of people moving around, and you can hear the street vendors calling out their prices from the window. We drink a lot of tea and coffee to stay sharp. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a water cooler or a break room. We just eat our lunch at our desks. The door sticks a little when it's humid, so you have to give it a good push to get in. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business inside out. It’s a tight space but it works for what we need to do. Most of our work is done over the phone or by mail anyway. Sometimes we stay a bit late to catch up on things when the street finally gets quiet in the evening.
