If you walk down Venkatesan Street in Tambaram, you will find us right at the start at number 1. It is a busy little corner of the world. Ayya Amutha Co. has been operating out of this building for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Tambaram has grown so much lately, but our little street stays pretty much the same. We deal with all sorts of people coming through the door. Sometimes it’s a neighbor just stopping by to say hello, and other times it’s a delivery that’s running late. The office isn't very big, so things can get a little crowded when we have all the staff in at the same time. We have piles of papers and folders everywhere because that is just how we keep track of things. It’s not a shiny, modern place with glass walls, but it’s ours. We usually have the fan going full blast because it gets quite warm here in the afternoons. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we all know how things work without having to talk about it too much. We just show up, do the jobs that need doing, and head home to our families. It’s a simple routine, but it works for us. Being at the very beginning of the street makes it easy to give people directions, which is a nice plus for anyone trying to find us.
