Marble Italia (tile Italia Group)

Our place is No. 10 Dakshin Ponniamman Nagar, just off Poonamalle High Road in Ayanambakkam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the location, especially with the references to Sarjapur Road and Jakkasandra too. Marble Italia is part of the Tile Italia Group. We have a lot of stone sitting here in the yard. It's heavy work. We spend the morning moving slabs and the afternoon talking to people about their renovations. We don't do those glossy brochures. You just come in and look at the actual pieces of marble. Every slab is a bit different. Some have more veins, some are darker. That’s nature for you. We just facilitate getting it from the warehouse to your site. The yard can get quite hot in the afternoon sun. We try to keep the dust down with water. It's a local business vibe here. We know the truck drivers and the local builders by name. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when three deliveries arrive at once. We manage. If you are coming from Karamongala or the other side, it's worth the drive to see the stock in person. We don't use those high-pressure sales tactics. We just show you what's available and give you the price. It's straightforward. That's how we like to run things at our Ayanambakkam spot. It is just us and the stone every day, making sure the orders go out to whoever needs them across the city.
