Aviztham Siddha Hospital

This is Aviztham Siddha Hospital and we are located at No 6 Mounasamy Mutt Street in Ambattur. It’s an older part of the neighborhood and the street can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a headache for people. We focus on Siddha medicine here, which is what we’ve always done. It’s a traditional way of looking at health. The building isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We have rooms for consultations and where we keep our herbs and medicines. People come to us when they want something different from the usual English medicines. We see a lot of local residents from Ambattur who have been coming to this street for years. The atmosphere is quite plain. We don't have air conditioning in every corner or anything like that. It’s just a regular local hospital where we talk to patients and give out treatments based on old traditions. Sometimes it smells like herbs and oils, which is normal for a Siddha place. The staff knows the regulars by name. We open in the morning and take a break in the afternoon before opening again. It’s a simple operation.
