We have been operating Avanta Global Academy Private Limited out of No.475/31A Salai in Chennai for a good while now. The address is 600035, which is a busy area to be in. To be honest, the traffic on the road can get quite loud during the day, so we usually have the windows shut. It is not some big, fancy corporate building. It is just a regular place where we have our classrooms and desks. Most of us here are local staff from the neighborhood. We take the bus or ride our scooters to get in every morning. We do a lot of training work, which involves a lot of talking and writing on boards. Sometimes we run out of markers or the air conditioning acts up, but we just get on with it. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us because their friends told them about our classes. We drink a lot of tea from the stall around the corner while we look over student files. It is a simple life here. We open up early and stay until the last student leaves. Chennai is hot, especially in the afternoons, so the office is a bit of a refuge. We are just a group of people doing our jobs and trying to keep everything organized. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do daily.
