Atelier Furniture Shop

Our shop is right on Valluvarkottam High Road, specifically at number 125 in Nungambakkam. Atelier Furniture Shop has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the traffic out front get worse every year. It’s a noisy spot but we like being in the middle of Nungambakkam. Inside, it's usually a mix of sawdust and finished pieces. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know a thing or two about wood and chairs. The shop floor is a bit crowded because we try to fit as much as we can so people can actually see the furniture. Sometimes the lighting isn't perfect, but you get a real look at what you’re buying. We don’t do those fancy sales pitches. If a table looks good to you and fits your budget, then that’s that. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. Sometimes we spend the morning just moving heavy wardrobes around to make space for a new delivery. It’s hard work and our hands stay dirty most of the day. If you stop by, you might find us in the back or helping someone out front. We aren't always wearing uniforms or looking polished. We're just a local furniture shop trying to keep the doors open and the customers happy with what they take home. It’s simple, really. We just work hard and hope the furniture we sell lasts a long time.
