Asian Granites

Asian Granites is situated out in Madhavaram. We are right on the 200 Feet Road at No. 25 and 26 in Venkatesa Thyagara Nagar. It is a wide road which makes it easier for the big lorries to bring in the granite slabs. We have a lot of heavy stone sitting around the place. Each piece has its own pattern and weight. We spend most of the day moving these slabs around with the crane or by hand when we have to. It is hard on the back, but that is the nature of the granite business. The area can get very dusty because of all the stone cutting and the traffic on the main road. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office. Usually, we just sit on some stools near the entrance. The sun can be brutal out here in Madhavaram, so we drink a lot of water. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other business owners on this stretch. Most people come to us because they are building something nearby and need stone that will last. We don't do much in terms of sales pitches. The granite speaks for itself when people see the colors and the grain. It is just us, the stones, and the noise of the 200 Feet Road. We keep things simple and just try to get the orders right every single day.
