Asian Engineering & Services

Asian Engineering & Services is on Angappa Naicken Street. It gets confusing because they changed the street numbers. We are at New No. 254 now, though some people still call it Old No. 133. It is right in the middle of everything in Chennai. The weather is usually hot so we keep the fans running all day while we work. We have been doing this for a while. The office is a bit cramped with all the files and the equipment we keep around. Most of the time it is just us handling service calls or looking at engineering drawings. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. The street outside is always packed with trucks and people moving goods. It can be hard to hear yourself think sometimes with all the honking. We just do our thing and go home when the sun goes down. There is nothing special about the way we operate. We just show up and see what needs fixing or what orders came in. A lot of the regular customers have been coming to this street for years, so we see the same faces quite often. We just keep the doors open and stay busy with whatever engineering tasks come our way. That is the long and short of it for us here. We don't spend much time worrying about the heat or the noise anymore. It’s just our daily life on this street and we are okay with that.
