Arunas Coffee Work

We started Arunas Coffee Work right here on Munuswamy Salai in K K Nagar quite some time ago. It’s a small place, mostly just us and the machines we use for the beans. If you walk past 952-B, you can usually smell the roasting from the street. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything like that. People just drop by when they need their bags filled for the week. It gets busy in the mornings because everyone around here wants their cup before heading to work. We spend most of our day checking the bins and making sure the grinders are working okay. Sometimes the heat from the roaster gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and it feels more like a community spot than a regular shop. There’s always someone stopping to chat for a minute while we weigh out their order. We don't do anything complicated, just the usual coffee stuff that locals expect from us. It's a simple setup at 952-B. The shelves are mostly full of bags and some basic equipment. Sometimes we run out of a specific roast because we only do small batches. It keeps us busy enough throughout the day. We don't use a lot of technology, just the old way of doing things that seems to work fine. It’s just us here, keeping the coffee moving and trying to get home on time.
