Arjun Coffee House

Arjun Coffee House is sitting at 89, Chennai Main Road. It is a busy spot because the main road connects so many different places. There is a constant stream of traffic, and we are right in the middle of it. The number 89 is painted on the front so people can find us easily among all the other buildings. Inside, it is usually a bit warmer than outside, especially when we have the equipment running. We spend our time roasting and grinding, and the smell of coffee is everywhere in the building. It even sticks to our clothes after we go home. We don't have any polished marble floors or expensive art on the walls. It is just a practical space with wooden tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use. People stop in because they are traveling along the road and need a break. We see families, workers, and students coming through our doors at all hours of the day. The mornings are usually the most hectic when everyone wants their drink at the same time. We just keep our heads down and work through the rush as best as we can. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we have to raise our voices to be heard. It is just a normal part of life on the Chennai Main Road. We like being here because there is never a dull moment and the day goes by fast.
