Arihant Marbles & Granites

You can find Arihant Marbles & Granites over on Arcot Road in Kodambakkam, right near the Ram Theatre. It’s a busy part of the city, and the noise from the street is something we have just gotten used to over the years. Our address is No 137/73, and we have a decent amount of space for the different granites and marbles we keep in stock for our customers. People often use the theatre as a landmark when they are trying to find our front gate for the first time. Most of our time is spent moving slabs around with the crane or by hand, depending on how big they are. It is a lot of grit and sweat, especially during the humid months here in Kodambakkam. We don't have any polished sales pitches or a fancy lobby area for people to sit in. People just walk in, look at the stone slabs, and we tell them what it costs and when we can realistically deliver it to their site. Sometimes the yard gets backed up with trucks waiting to unload, and things get a bit chaotic on Arcot Road. We just do our best to keep things moving along and get the orders processed. It is a practical business for people who need solid materials for their floors or kitchens. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need to do much more than show up and work.
