Arasan Masala

You can find Arasan Masala at No. 300 on Rabindranath Tagore Saalai. We are in Block 13. It is a decent-sized place but it always feels a bit small because of all the stock we keep on the shelves. We sell all kinds of masalas that people use for their daily cooking at home. The street outside can get quite busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work. We spend most of our time weighing things out on the scales and talking to the people who stop by for a few minutes. We don't have a fancy marketing plan or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We have been in Block 13 for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. Sometimes we share a coffee when things are slow in the afternoon. The shop can get a bit dusty from all the spice powder, but we try to keep it as tidy as we can. We don't use those high-end machines you see in modern factories. It is just basic tools that get the job done for us. Sometimes we get a big order that keeps us working late into the night. It is a lot of physical work, lifting bags and moving heavy bins. But it is a good feeling when the shelves are full and the customers are happy with what they bought. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
