Greams Road is a place most people around here know well. We are situated right along this stretch, and it’s been our home for many years. The building is a familiar sight to those who live or work nearby. It’s not a polished or shiny place; it looks like a building that has seen plenty of use over time. Inside, it’s mostly just the sounds of shoes on the floor and the occasional beep of a machine. We don't have a PR person telling us what to say. We just talk to the patients like we talk to anyone else. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know every corner of it. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We all just get on with it. There’s a lot of paper moving around and people waiting for their names to be called. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s a hospital, and we provide what’s needed when people are unwell. The traffic on Greams Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but inside, we just keep our heads down. We drink a lot of tea and keep the records straight. It’s honest work. We don't have any big mission statements or goals written on the walls. We just stay open and do what we can for whoever comes through the doors. It's just a normal day for us here on the road.
