We’ve been here on Station Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot because of the trains and all the people coming and going at odd hours. The building itself is easy to find, right there on the main road, but parking can be a bit of a headache during the morning rush. Most of us here have been working in this branch for years, so we know the regulars who stop by for their usual checks. The lobby usually has a lot of people waiting, and it gets pretty loud when the shifts change and everyone is talking at once. It’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever see, but it’s solid and does the job. We’ve got that usual hospital smell—a mix of cleaning supplies and maybe a bit of floor wax. The receptionists are always on the phone or typing something up while people stand in line. Sometimes the elevators take a minute, so a lot of us just use the stairs if we’re only going up a floor or two. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, not just some big corporate office. People bring their kids, and old folks come in for their checkups every month. We just keep things moving as best as we can. There’s always someone mopping a floor or refilling the water cooler near the entrance. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do every day here.
