Anjakha Hospital

This building is right on 23 Medavakkam Main Road in Madipakkam. It is a busy stretch of road and finding a parking spot can be a bit of a headache sometimes during the peak hours. We have been in this part of Madipakkam for quite some time now. Inside the hospital things are usually moving pretty fast. There are always people coming and going from the main entrance. The floor tiles have some scuffs from all the years of people walking over them. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait. The nurses are usually busy moving between the rooms and the front desk. It can get a bit noisy with the sounds of the street coming through the front door but we are used to it by now. I spend a lot of my time at the desk looking at the schedules. It’s a practical place without any extra decorations that aren't needed. We keep the medicine cabinets locked and the charts organized by date. Sometimes the water cooler leaks a little bit on the floor so we put a small rug there. It’s just how things are in a busy local hospital like this one. We see people from all over the neighborhood and even some who travel from further down the main road. It feels like a small world inside these walls even when the city outside is huge and loud. We just keep going day by day.
