We've been here at 47, 2nd Main Road for a while now. Dealing with appliances isn't always glamorous, but it's what we do. Raja Annamalaipuram is a busy area, and we fit right in. Some days it's just about getting the work done. Hitachi is a big name, but here it's just us handling things. People come in, they ask about parts or new units, and we try to give them a straight answer. It gets hot in Chennai, so you can imagine the rush. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. The shop isn't fancy. There are stacks of boxes and paperwork everywhere. Sometimes the phone rings too much, other times it's quiet enough to actually get some lunch. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and coffee. It's more of a place where things get fixed or moved out to customers. The staff knows their way around the machines. We try to keep things moving. If you walk down 2nd Main, you'll find us. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy decorations or slogans. It’s just Amtrex Hitachi. We focus on the units we have and the people who need them. It's a job. Most of us have been here a few years now. We know the regulars who live around RA Puram. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with hardware and boxes all day long. We just get on with it.
