Amman Engineering

Amman Engineering is located at No : 11/4 in Selliamman Nagar, over in Madhavaram. It’s a quiet enough street, mostly houses and small shops. We’ve got a decent-sized space where we do our engineering work. It’s nothing fancy, just a workshop with high ceilings and a lot of heavy equipment. We started this business because we liked working with our hands and solving mechanical problems. Over the years, we’ve handled all sorts of jobs for people in Madhavaram and beyond. There’s no reception desk or waiting area; you just walk into the shop and find someone. Usually, we’re covered in grease or dust from whatever we’re working on. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a team of consultants. It’s just us, our tools, and the drawings we use to build things. We take our time to make sure things are done properly, even if it means staying late some nights. The heat in the shop can get pretty bad during the summer, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve been part of Selliamman Nagar for a long time, and we like the community here. Most of our work comes from people who know us or heard about us from a neighbor. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s ours and we’re used to the long hours.
