Granite & Marbles Co. operates out of two main spots. We have one place at #106 Nelson Manickam Road in Aminjikari and another one at # 262/1-2-b Seemathaman Nagar Main Road. The second location is off Alapakkam Road in Maduravoyal. Managing two different sites keeps us on our toes all day long. We are often driving back and forth between Aminjikari and Maduravoyal to check on things. At Nelson Manickam Road, it’s very urban and busy with a lot of noise. The Maduravoyal spot is also quite active, especially being near the main road. We handle a lot of stone every week. It’s a lot of logistics, trying to make sure the right marble is at the right place. We aren't a big corporate chain. We are just a local company with a couple of yards and some dedicated staff. The offices are small and mostly used for keeping records and taking calls. We don’t use any fancy talk to get people through the door. Usually, they find us because they saw the stone piled up at one of our locations. Working with granite and marble is a messy, heavy business, and our locations reflect that. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly at both Nelson Manickam Road and Seemathaman Nagar. It's a lot to handle, but we have been doing it this way for a long time.
