You’ll find Euroceramic Chennai over at No. 24a Gandhi Nagar 1st Street in Alwarthirunagar. We deal mostly with ceramics, which is a different beast compared to heavy stone. It’s a bit more delicate, but still requires a lot of care. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we keep a lot of stock inside. Alwarthirunagar is a busy area, and Gandhi Nagar 1st Street can get pretty crowded during the day. We spend most of our time organizing boxes and showing different patterns to people who stop in. We aren't corporate people with suits; we’re usually in work clothes and trying to get things done. Sometimes the floor is a mess with tile scraps, but we clean it up when we can. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just let the ceramics speak for themselves. If someone likes a pattern, they buy it. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the changes, we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet. We aren't looking to expand into some massive chain. We’re happy right here at No. 24a. It’s just us, the tiles, and the daily work that needs doing. It keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
