Alma Nero Farms Llp is down in Akkarai, right along the ECR. We are at F40 in Spring Garden, on the 1st Street. If you know Chennai, you know how the air smells like salt and the sea down this way. It is a nice place to have a farm office, even if the city is growing all around us. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us at Alma Nero trying to make things work. The garden area here is quiet compared to the main road traffic that everyone complains about. We spend our days dealing with the farm logistics and making sure the crops are getting what they need. It is not always easy, especially when the weather in Chennai gets that heavy humidity. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans painted on the walls. Mostly, we just have desks piled with papers and some muddy boots near the door. The 600119 area has changed a lot over the years, but we are still here doing our thing. It's honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just focus on the soil and the plants. If someone knocks on the door at Spring Garden, they usually find us busy with something or other. It is just our daily life here by the coast.
