Saravanan Machines

Saravanan Machines is tucked away at No. 2 Parthasarathy Nagar 10th Street in Adambakkam. It’s a small shop where we deal with all kinds of mechanical stuff. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or some metal shavings because we are always tinkering with something. We have a few old lathes and some newer tools too. People from around Adambakkam bring their gear in when it stops working right. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everything is running at once, but you get used to it after a while. The 10th street is usually quiet, which is nice for when we need to concentrate on a tricky fix. We’ve had this spot for years. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours, but we know where to put the buckets. It’s not the kind of place you’d go for a tour. It’s just a workshop. We spend our mornings drinking coffee and looking at blueprints or broken parts. Then we spend the rest of the day trying to make things spin again. We don't talk much, just work. If you need to find us, just look for the grey door with the name painted on it. It’s a honest day's work and we like it that way. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just people who fix things.
