Aaram Beverages

Aaram Beverages is tucked away at 76, T N Nagar. It's in Alapakkam, which is a place that feels like it's always growing but still has its local corners. I’ve been working here for a while now. The street can get a bit crowded with traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out to their jobs. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular spot where we handle the beverages. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and making sure things are moving. It’s funny how much work goes into just moving bottles and crates around. My hands are usually tired by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the drinks get to where they need to go in the neighborhood. Sometimes I stand out front and just watch the people go by for a few minutes. It’s a mix of students and office workers. Alapakkam has its own rhythm. We fit into that rhythm somehow. It gets dusty, and the fans never seem fast enough in the summer heat. But we have our routine and that’s what matters to us. No one here wears a tie or uses big words. We just wear what's comfortable and get the job done. It's a decent way to spend the day and it keeps me out of trouble, I suppose. It is just a normal life.
