A G Hospital

A G Hospital is right at number 29 on Kakkan Street. Most people in Tambaram West know where we are because we’re so close to Vidhya Theatre. It’s a familiar landmark for everyone. The street is usually pretty lively, especially when there’s a new movie playing. Our hospital isn't a giant facility, but it’s a solid part of this neighborhood. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a while now. It’s got that lived-in feel, which I think makes people feel a bit more at ease than if it were all white and sterile. We see a lot of people from the nearby houses and shops. It’s a general hospital, so we take in a bit of everything. The staff here mostly takes the bus or walks to work, so we’re very much a part of the local scene. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most people find us because they live around the corner or someone told them about us. The waiting room gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have fans going. We try to keep things simple. If you need a doctor and you're in Tambaram West, we're right there near the theater. It’s a busy life running a hospital, but we like being here. We know the regulars and we try to help whoever comes in. We usually keep some water available for anyone who is waiting out in the lobby area.
